Sit Still, advice to myself…
Sit still —
long enough,
and the need to become someone
begins to dissolve.
There is nothing broken here.
Not in you,
not in the world.
Life flows,
sorrow folds into joy,
confusion into clarity,
and back again.
What remains?
This vast, unmoving presence —
kind by nature,
wild by nature,
clear as the sky before dawn.
Let that be your mirror.
Let that be your refuge.
And when others come,
confused or hurting —
don’t teach them.
Just be the space
where they can remember
who they are.
